In the mature rubber plantation with conventional planting form [(2 ~ 3) m (6 ~ 10) m], although the roots of underground rubber trees are still criss-crossed, with the increase of cutting age and annual wind damage, the leaves in the crown decrease year by year, and the light transmittance under the rubber plantation increases year by year, so some plants (crops) that are more tolerant to shading, such as coffee, etc. Therefore, at present, the main intercropping modes of mature rubber plantations are: rubber/tea, rubber/coffee, rubber/puzzle, rubber/Amomum villosum, rubber/rattan and so on.
