Documentary Records of Shao Long Landscape in Jinyun Mountain, Chongqing
According to local records, 4700 years ago, Xuanyuan Huangdi, the ancestor of China, was an alchemist in this mountain. When Dan became a man, there were auspicious clouds in the sky that were neither red nor purple, and Xuanyuan Huangdi was named Jinyun, hence the name Jinyun Mountain. There is also a record in the collection of orthodox Taoism in the Ming Dynasty, A Mirror Volume of Immortals and Taoism in Past Dynasties:' Xuanyuan Huangdi went there to make an alchemy in Jinyuntang, and when he made an alchemy underground, there was a cloud that was neither red nor purple, which was called Jinyun because of its name'. Shao Long Temple in Jinyun Mountain is the place where Xuanyuan Huangdi made an alchemy. It is famous for its alchemy, martial arts, medical skills and health preservation.
