Xishuangbanna 1, Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden
Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of China Academy of Sciences is located in Huludao, Menglun Town, Mengla County, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China, 75 kilometers away from Jinghong City. Belonging to the national 5A-level scenic spot, it is known as the epitome of the plant kingdom and the heart of jade.
This is the largest botanical garden in China, with the richest species collection and the largest number of plant-specific gardens. There are more than 4000 kinds of plants from all over the world. The park is divided into two parts: there is a narrow tropical rain forest in the east, which is suitable for hiking. There are more than 20 plant-specific areas in the west, where plants of various shapes can be seen. Rare tropical plants such as lotus and arrow poison wood are an eye-opener.
2. Xishuangbanna Wild Elephant Valley
When you come to Xishuangbanna, you must not miss this Wild Elephant Valley, which is located on the west side of National Highway 2 13. Wild Elephant Valley is densely forested. This is a haunt of Asian wild elephants. You can follow them to see the depths of the virgin forest. Wild elephants mainly live in Mengyang Nature Reserve. 3. Keno shanzhai
In the vast and desolate tropical rain forest of Xishuangbanna, there is a secret place that makes people infinitely curious and fascinated. It is the last Jino settlement among the 56 ethnic groups in China recognized by the State Council, and it is also a unique minority in Xishuangbanna. It is located in Bapo Village, Jinuo Township, between Wild Elephant Valley and Menglun Botanical Garden, 28 kilometers away from Jinghong City, and it is the place where Jinuo people have thrived for generations.
Entering the main entrance of Jinuo nationality, its shape originated from the totem Jinuo drum. According to legend, Jinuo people come out of the drum, and those who walk through the drum door can bring good luck. 4. Xishuangbanna Dai Garden
The Dai garden is very big. It is located in the beautiful Olive Dam, bordering Lancang River in the south and Longde Lake in the north. Dai Garden includes five natural villages of Dai nationality, temples where the villages worship together, splash water square, etc. It is said that the ancient Buddhist temple inside is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Xishuangbanna, with a history of 1400 years. 5. Manting Park
Man Ting Park is located in Jinghong City, the capital of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture. It is the oldest park in Xishuangbanna. It was once the royal garden of Dai king in Xishuangbanna, with a history of 1300 years. Legend has it that Princess Dai was attracted by the beautiful scenery here when she came here to enjoy the garden, hence the name.

6. Wangtianshu Rainforest National Park
Wangtianshu Scenic Area is actually a part of Xishuangbanna Tropical Rainforest National Park. Located in the northeast of Mengla County, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture in the west, it is only 60 kilometers away from Mohan Port, 0/20 kilometers away from the capital of Nanta, Laos, and even closer than Jinghong City.
