Vitamin E with drug approval trademark name is purer, safer and more effective than those with drug approval trademark name. In China, only two or three kinds of vitamin E have been approved for marketing. Yangshengtang and Amway in the market are both drug-approved brands, and their efficacy and safety are not as good as those approved by drugs.

1. Natural VE is extracted and refined from natural plants, with high safety and no side effects.

2. Synthetic VE is made from by-products of petrochemical industry, such as trimethylhydroquinone.

China Pharmacopoeia stipulates that the content of natural vitamin E :D-α- tocopherol should not be less than 90%, and the United States Pharmacopoeia stipulates that it should not be less than 96%.

Vitamin E in Yangshengtang says that it contains 97.5 mg of d-α- tocopherol, but the back is not obvious that it contains 39 g of d-α- tocopherol per 100 g, and the purity is only 39%.

At present, only Lion brand natural vitamin E produced by Xinchang Pharmaceutical Company has a purity higher than 96%.
