Functions and functions of meridians
Physiological aspect
Qi and blood are the most important substances in the human body, but they must run through meridians to achieve the purpose of resisting evil and defending the body. Under the system headed by various zang-fu organs, the twelve meridians linked the zang-fu organs of human body with external tissues, limbs and bones, so as to carry out overall circulation and play its inherent role. Stephy is scattered outside the meridians and belongs to Yang; Qi Ying runs in the meridians and belongs to Yin.
In addition, there are six meridians and meridians, such as pulse-rushing, pulse-cutting, Yang-wei, Yin-wei, Yang-wei and Yin-wei, and several collaterals, which intricately run through the four meridians of the older generation and can move together smoothly.
Pathological aspect
Meridian function is normal, can resist external evil and defend the body; Once its function is abnormal, exogenous pathogens can pass through the meridians, from the outside to the inside and from top to bottom, making people sick and reflecting to the body surface.
Therapeutic aspect
From ancient times to the present, no matter whether it is internal treatment with drugs, external treatment with acupuncture or traditional nourishing, there is no acupoint selection that is not based on meridians. As far as the internal treatment of drugs is concerned, when choosing drugs, it is necessary to make clear what the disease belongs to, and then choose drugs according to the law of meridian tropism of drugs. In health? Internal qi? Then according to the meridians, such as a mentally healthy Sunday, it takes the route of Ren Du and Er Mai.
The twelve meridians Xunxing
1. The main theoretical basis of Du meridian "one yang" is that all yang meridians and Du meridian meet at Dazhui point;
2. Except for the meridian of foot sun, the yang meridian enters the chest and abdomen through the point of lacking basin, and the collaterals belong to viscera;
3. The meridians at the apex of the heart include Du Meridian, Foot Taiyang Bladder Meridian and Foot Jueyin Liver Meridian, so apex pain is mostly related to the above meridians, especially the Foot Jueyin Liver Meridian.
4. The meridians passing through the forehead, except the Foot Sun and the Du Meridian, are mainly the Foot Yangming Meridian, so the forehead pain mostly belongs to the headache of Yangming Meridian;
5. The extraocular canthus is the intersection of hand-foot shaoyang and hand-sun meridian, the medial canthus is the intersection of hand-foot sun, foot Yangming, Yinqiao pulse and Yangqiao pulse, and the hand-sun small intestine meridian is the only meridian leading to the inner and outer canthus;
6. The meridians that run in the ear are: hand and foot shaoyang and hand taiyang meridians, so sudden deafness in the ear is mostly related to liver and gallbladder exuberance; 7. The meridians around the mouth and lips are: hand and foot Yangming, foot Jueyin, and Chongren, so Chongren is full of blood, which is the fundamental reason why men grow beards, while women don't grow beards because the blood in the meridians gambles on menstruation;
8. The meridians connecting the target system are: the liver meridian of foot syncope and the heart meridian of hand shaoyin;
9. The liver meridian goes around the yin organ, reaching the lower abdomen, leaning towards the lower abdomen and spreading on both sides. Therefore, the common pain on both sides of liver disease leads to the lower abdomen and even controls the testicles;
10. The meridians connecting the tongue are: Foot Taiyin Spleen Meridian (connecting the tongue root and spreading the sublingual) and Foot Shaoyin Kidney Meridian (carrying the tongue root to both sides of the tongue root), so the secretion and pathological changes of saliva are mostly related to spleen and kidney.
