Gansu can be planted.
Breeding method of honeysuckle:
Honeysuckle is mainly propagated by cutting, but also by seed propagation, rooting and layering.
Sowing propagation
There are two methods: direct cutting and cutting seedling.
Cutting period: it can be carried out in spring, summer and autumn. Spring should be before the new buds germinate, and autumn should be from early September to the middle of 10.
Selection and treatment of cuttings;
Should choose 1 ~ 2-year-old robust branches, cutting length of about 30 cm, each with at least 3 nodes. Then, take off the lower blade, leaving 2-4 upper blades, cut the lower end near the node into smooth slopes, tie every 50 blades into L bundles, quickly soak the lower slope with 500ppm indobutyric acid (1ba) solution for 5- 10 seconds, and cut it immediately after it is slightly dry.
Direct cutting:
On the whole planting land, dig pits with the row spacing of 150× 150 cm or 170× 170 cm, with the pit diameter and depth of 40 cm respectively, loosen the subsoil, and apply 5 kg of decomposed manure or compost to each pit. Then spread the cuttings flat, insert 3-5 cuttings in each hole, and the burial depth is 1/2-2/3 of the cuttings, then fill in fine soil and tamp it with your feet, water it1time to keep the soil moist. 1 month can take root and sprout.
Cutting seedlings:
On the flat harrow grooving machine, line spacing is 15 ~ 20cm, and positioning holes are punched on the frame with small wooden sticks or bamboo chopsticks every 3 ~ 5cm. Then insert the cuttings 1/2 ~ 2/3 obliquely into the holes, compact them, and then water them 1 time. If cutting is carried out at low temperature in early spring, plastic film arch grating should be built on the seedbed to keep it warm and moist. It takes about half a month to take root and sprout new buds, and then the plastic film is removed for seedling management. Plants transplanted in spring are planted in the nursery in the winter of that year or the spring of the following year. Cutting seedlings in summer and autumn are transplanted in the following spring. Cutting seedling can obtain a large number of nutritious seedlings in a short time.
Seed propagation:
Before and after the first frost, when the honeysuckle berries turn black, harvest the ripe fruits in time, rub them in clear water, strip off impurities, take out the full seeds that sink to the bottom, and dry them for storage. You can also order it on demand. If it is sown in the next spring, take out the seeds 40 days before sowing, soak them in warm water at 40℃ for 24 hours, and pile them up with three times of wet sand layer after taking them out to accelerate germination. When 50% of the seeds are exposed, the seeds can be screened out for drilling.
fissiparity
In winter, honeysuckle is the mother plant. It was dug during the dormant period. After properly pruning the roots and aboveground stems, dig pits and divide plants, and plant L ~ 2 plants in each pit. Buds can appear in the second year after planting. However, the growth of the mother plant was inhibited, and there was little or no flowering in that year. Therefore, in addition to using wild fine varieties to divide roots, it is generally used less in producing areas.
Stratified propagation
It is carried out during the dormancy period of plants in autumn and winter or before germination in early spring. 3 ~ 4-year-old honeysuckle with flowering, vigorous growth and high yield was selected as the mother plant. Bend and bury the 1 year-old branches near the ground, scratch the buried parts of the branches, cover them with the fine fertile soil of 10 ~ 15 cm, and then fix and compact the branches to expose them from the ground. If the branches are long, they can be bent and pressed into the soil. After watering and fertilizing, the rooted layered seedlings can be cut off from the mother and planted separately in the next spring.
