1. There are two kinds of bugs in Pu 'er tea:
A: White bug: Not a "tea bug" who eats tea, but a "paper bug" who likes to eat packaged cotton paper.
In the market, it is not difficult to find all kinds of small holes on some cotton paper of Pu 'er tea. These holes are called "bug eyes" by people in the industry. These "bug eyes" are exactly what paper bugs do. Fortunately, this bug only likes to eat cotton paper, so it has little effect on the quality of Pu 'er tea. But we must deal with them. Dealing with these "paper worms" is very simple. First, clean the tea leaves with a brush, and then put the love tea in.
Note: when selling tea in the market, its layout and appearance are also a major factor affecting the price. Everyone should always be vigilant to avoid the tea wrapping paper being eaten up by "tea bugs"!
B: Gray-black bug: This kind of "tea bug" only eats tea leaves, but unfortunately few people have seen this kind of bug in the market.
"Tea bugs" are extremely beneficial. They will appear in some high-quality Pu 'er tea products. They specialize in tea, love to eat good tea, and will become a part of tea after death. It is said that this kind of tea is more beautiful and better in soup color, taste and foam resistance than 50-year-old Pu 'er tea (for this, Bian Xiao has no chance to taste it, and it is impossible to tell everyone what this kind of tea tastes like). Speaking of "tea bug", I have to say "Dragon Pearl Tea" (also called insect excrement tea). This kind of tea is made by specially treating the excrement of "tea worm" after eating tea. The nutritional value of insect tea is higher than that of ordinary tea.
Note: "Tea bugs" appear in normal storage and normal aging environment, not to be compared with the bugs produced by Pu 'er tea stored in humid environment!
