Xixi folk culture is particularly rich and colorful, and still retains many traditional folk customs such as "Dragon Boat Race", "Bitan Fishing", "Shooting Bamboo" and "Qingming Picnic". Xixi's religious culture is also quite developed, and the architectural culture with temples, security halls, ancestral halls and famous gardens as carriers adds cultural connotation to Xixi Wetland.

Since ancient times, dragon boats from eight neighboring towns in Xixi have gathered here to participate in the Dragon Boat Festival every year. This traditional folk activity has continued to this day. According to legend, Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty visited the south of the Yangtze River and once watched the dragon boat in Jiangcun Village of Shentankou, rejoicing that "the dragon boat won". Since then, Xixi Dragon Boat has become famous.
Every year, the Dragon Boat Festival wins the Dragon Boat Festival, and the Altar Mouth and the Wuchang River are full of people and excitement. There are wonderful operas, martial arts and dragon and lion dances on the ancient stage, and hundreds of dragon boats shuttle back and forth in the water to test their level. This folk activity, which symbolizes the courage, perseverance and pursuit of a better life of Xixi people, has been passed down to this day.
