There are pandas in Nanning Zoo.

Nanning Zoo is the only national AAAA scenic spot in Guangxi, which integrates wildlife breeding, exhibition, breeding, research, popular science education and leisure sightseeing. The park receives nearly 3 million visitors every year.

As early as the 1990s, Nanning Zoo once raised a giant panda. At that time, children loved to look into the panda house, and it caused cheers when it moved. Later, after the panda died of natural illness, it was gradually forgotten by people.

The arrival of "Ji Mei" and "Jilan" has refreshed the panda memory of Nanning people, and it is said that there will be a pair of giant pandas staying in the Peak Forest Park in Nanning in the future, one in the west and the other in the north, and even the whole of Nanning will become "Meng Meng Da".

The park has subtropical characteristics and ecological landscape in South China, and is praised as "Zoo in Botanical Garden" by China landscape experts.
