? One day, my friend Nancy sent me a video saying that there is a skill that is good for my health. I opened it and saw that a mage named Wan Xing was teaching the specific steps of this skill. I practiced for the video two or three times, and I felt a little tired, so I gave up.

? Later, my husband bought several books by thousands of masters, such as Conquering His Heart, Making Good Use of His Heart, Living Without a Home, and Closing the Door. He was fascinated by it. I watch it intermittently, too. It is reported that this guru realized the true meaning of life after seven years of seclusion. After going through the customs, he devoted himself to rebuilding Donghua Temple. I admire the guru very much.

? In 20 15, our family moved from Beijing to Guangzhou and became a new Guangzhou native. During the Spring Festival this year, we returned to Guangzhou from my husband's hometown in Hunan and made a detour to Donghua Temple.

? At that time, the entrance of Donghua Temple was not completely built. In the conference room, our family of three were lucky enough to meet the guru Wan Xing for the first time. This guru has the demeanor of an overhaul pedestrian, an extraordinary spirit and a very rich voice. Sitting there very gently, chatting with the believers at home. We also asked a few questions. He answered patiently one by one. I remember telling my teacher that I practiced martial arts, but I felt a little tired after practicing. He replied at that time that if you practice for seven days, you might not feel so tired.

? Later, I didn't try for seven days as suggested by my teacher. Time has passed, and it has been more than two years in a blink of an eye.

In the early summer of 20 17, I got the book "Give Up Your Heart" that my husband had read several times, and even the cover had dropped. This time, I finished reading it at once. It feels like everything the teacher said is true, and there is almost no nonsense.

Some people say that when the apprentice is ready, the master will come. I signed up for the 34th meditation class of Donghua Temple in September through the Internet. It is said that among thousands of people who signed up, the meditation class will select 50 people. After signing up, I have been waiting for the answer in fear. One day, I received a phone call from Shi, a teacher in Donghua Temple meditation class. I was too excited to speak. After a brief exchange of words, she said, then you come.

So, with excitement and joy, I came to Donghua Temple in wengyuan county, Guangdong Province on September 20 17.

Zizitang is located at the highest point of Donghua Temple. Our meditation class will always be held here.

The 50 women in this issue all live in the yellow dormitory building next to the free hall. The room is clean and tidy. There are three people living in one room. Although the bed is not big, one person is enough. The key is that every bed should be equipped with mosquito nets.

Each of us received a meditation suit made of cotton and linen from the temple and a gift box from Master Wan Xing. It was still very hot in Guangdong in September, and each of us received a folding fan. How sweet!

My other two roommates, one is from Mao Mao, Hunan. According to her, when she first met Master Wan Hang eleven years ago, Master still lived in a row of mud houses. She has been a volunteer in Donghua Temple for two months. The other is a light rain in Yantai, Shandong Province. She attended the annual summer camp of Donghua Temple two years ago and often came to Donghua Temple. Compared with them, I am a freshman, because I have read a few books and met the guru. I can say that I don't know much about Donghua Temple. Or, according to my personal experience, I know very little about temples and monks' lives.

In this meditation class, Master Na Wei, equivalent to our head teacher, is Master GR, and the teacher on duty is Master XD.

The applause at four o'clock in the morning woke us up from our sleep. At 4: 30, there is still a little star shining in the dark sky. Our Na Wei branch started from Zizitang with a group of 50 people. Along the way, melodious bells were heard in the distance. Master Weiner said to me, listen, this is the legendary life of the morning bell and the evening drum!

First of all, we went to the Hall of the Great Heroes for an early class and experienced the life of monks in the temple. When I read spells with many wizards, I deeply felt a very solemn and sacred feeling. The Buddha statue in the Daxiong Hall of Donghua Temple is the most outstanding Buddha statue in all temples I have ever seen. Later, Master Na Wei told us that these three Buddha statues were designed and modified by Master Wan Xing himself. It can be said that every brick and tile of the temple was built by the guru from scratch.

After an hour's morning class, it was dawn in Zhao Hui. Let's go to Jiafeng Square to do collective exercise. This set of dynamic exercises taught by Master Wan Xing can strengthen the body and get through the the twelve meridians. At present, it has been approved by the state as the fifth set of broadcast gymnastics.

I did some exercises and arrived at the temple for breakfast at 6: 30. We sang prayers, blessings and rewards with many monks and fellow initiates. I finished my first breakfast at Donghua Temple, and I was full of gratitude to the vegetable farmers, chefs and Master Wanxing.

In the morning, Master GR of our Na Wei branch led a group of 50 people to visit the whole temple. Along the way, tell us the story behind each building. What impressed me most was that when we visited Sansheng Cave, Master GR pointed to the building next to Sansheng Cave and said that this was the first house built by the guru in the temple. He is only thirty years old, and he is eager to rebuild Donghua Temple. But at that time, the master had only 20 thousand yuan, so he asked the construction team to start work, and the workers were worried about asking him if he had any money. The guru went down the mountain all night to find a friend for alms, and finally built a standing building.

Master GR worked as a waiter for the guru and personally participated in the construction of Donghua Temple. Once, the guru told him that rebuilding the temple is actually the need of all beings, and he only needs a cave.

Sansheng Cave, in the first year of Tian Jian, Liang Wudi in the Southern Dynasties (AD 502), was closed by Zen master Zhi Yao. Because the mountain here is more like the Ling jiusan of Tianzhu at that time, Zen master Zhi Yao built a temple here called Ling Jiu Temple. Later, in the Tang Dynasty, Master Huineng, the sixth ancestor of Zen Buddhism, also closed in this cave, and later promoted Zen Buddhism here and renamed Lingjiu Temple Donghua Temple. Castle Peak still exists, the sun still rises and the sunset still sets. After thousands of years of vicissitudes, all temple buildings have become legends.

Master Wan Xing 1997 is closed here. After going through the customs, Donghua Temple was rebuilt in Faxin to revive Donghua Zen style.

From scratch, more than ten years have passed, from the building of 20 thousand yuan to the Donghua Temple, which now costs more than 400 million yuan. Who has thought about how much effort, heart and energy Master Wanxing has put into this? Yes, every grass, tree, brick and tile of Donghua Temple embodies the hard work of the guru for half his life. How can he not be moved and grateful for his great desire to benefit the public?

At the Dust Pavilion, Master GR carefully drew two signatures for our 34th meditation class. The first sign reads: "The sun is like running water, and the moon is like a shuttle. Idle time is easy to kill, and years are rich and successful. Don't wait for your head to break. " The second sign reads: "Don't doubt the divine opportunity in the sky. Think twice before you can fly directly to the blue sky and soar in the clouds. " One cause and one fruit, heaven shows the spirit.

In the evening, Master Wanxing, eight deacons from the four major temples and 50 of us had a meeting.

After listening to each of us introduce ourselves, the guru said, "I think the students in your period are particularly kind." It suddenly narrowed the psychological distance between us and the guru.

Perhaps, it's really not the first time to meet each other. From generation to generation, we have been walking together on the road of pursuing truth. However, it flows around in the world of mortals, and we meet again in this life. Thought of here, my heart can't help a little wet.

Back in the free hall at night, all 50 of us handed in our mobile phones. The volunteer teachers carefully tied three mobile phones in each room in an envelope. So, we bid farewell to this complicated information world.

A brand-new inner spiritual journey has begun.
