Waiguan point Waiguan point is located on the back of forearm, where the transverse wrinkles of hands and neck are three fingers wide upward, opposite to the former Neiguan point, or on the connecting line between Yangchi point and elbow tip, the wrist back is 2 inches across, between ulna and radius. When taking this point, the patient should sit up straight, lie on his back and lean on his palm.
When the arm is bent, it is at the lower end of the deltoid muscle of the lateral humerus.
When Zong Zheng is sitting or lying down, the lower edge of the scapula is on the line connecting with the lower angle of the scapula, and at the intersection of the upper middle 1/3, it is flush with the lower spinous process of the fourth thoracic vertebra, and forms a regular triangle with the shoulder pillow.
Moxibustion treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis: Moxibustion at each acupoint 10 minute, moxibustion 1 ~ 2 times a day, and 15 days is 1 course of treatment.
