Jintan Maoshan Scenic Area Jintan Maoshan Scenic Area is located in Xuebu Town, Jintan City, Changzhou City. Maoshan Mountain is a famous Taoist mountain in Jiangsu Province and the birthplace of Taoist Puritanism. Maoshan is located at the junction of Changzhou and Zhenjiang, which is divided into Jurong Maoshan and Jintan Maoshan. The area of Maoshan Mountain in Jintan is larger than that of Maoshan Mountain in Jurong, which is called "Shangqing Zongtan" by Taoists and has the reputation of "the first blessed land and the eighth hole".
Jintan Maoshan Scenic Area is also one of the six major anti-Japanese base areas in China, focusing on Taoist health preservation, leisure vacation and eco-sightseeing. The main attractions are Oriental Salt Lake City, Baosheng Garden, Maoshan Taoist Temple, Jiuxiaofu Palace, Ganyuan Temple, Huayang South Cave, Jinniu Cave and Baguatai.
Oriental Salt Lake City is the core area of China Maoshan Scenic Area, which has a scene, eight courtyards, a Taoist club, a Taoist hostel and a Taoist street.
Baosheng Garden, located in Ermao East Scenic Area of Jintan Maoshan Scenic Area, is a giant landscape garden consisting of three parts: cultural industry plate, leisure and holiday plate and amusement project, which organically connects five major museums, hot springs, forest mountains, bamboo seas and tea gardens.
Gan Yuan is one of the "three palaces and five scenic spots" in Maoshan Taoist shrine. It used to be the headquarters of the New Fourth Army and an ancient Taoist training place with a long history. There are buildings such as Daluobao Hall, Lingguan Hall, Dongbai Hall, Baixi Hall, Jade Emperor Hall, Sanmao Ancestral Hall, Cihang Hall, Bell and Drum Tower, Zhaitang Hall and Daozhong Living Area.
The most interesting seasons in Jintan Maoshan Scenic Area are spring and autumn. At this time, the temperature is suitable, which is the golden season for tourism. There are also some specialties, such as green fur eggs, Maoshan hand-peeled bamboo shoots, purple potatoes, chestnuts and so on.
