Terrain of Wu Tong
Wutongshan gradually rises from southwest to northeast. There are three main peaks on the back line of the main peak (the altitude is 692m/706m/944m respectively). From here, you can see the downtown area of Shenzhen in the west, the foggy mountain in Hong Kong (958 meters above sea level) in the south, and the vast Dapeng Bay and the beautiful Dapeng Peninsula in the southeast.
Wu Tong is one of the few rural natural scenic spots in China with coastal, mountainous and natural vegetation as the main landscape. The landscape is characterized by rarity, beauty, seclusion and desolation, among which "Wu Tong Yanyun" was rated as one of the new eight scenic spots in Shenzhen by the Shenzhen Municipal Government.
The main peak of Wu Tong, which belongs to the scenic spot, is 943.7 meters above sea level, making it the first peak in Shenzhen. Magnificent mountains and unpredictable clouds, combining rigidity with softness, set off the vastness of Dapeng Bay. The mountain stream is quiet and lush, and it is one of the shelters and resource banks of rare animals and plants in the Pearl River Delta region.
