On September 28th, 2009, Qingfeng Park officially opened. Now it is the back garden of the CBD of the international trade circle, with beautiful scenery. There is a fitness trail 1.7km long along the river, which has become a good place for the surrounding residents and white-collar workers to run and relax in the morning.
As for the source of Qingfeng Park, according to Yuan Shi, after the excavation of Tonghui River, in order to control the water flow and facilitate navigation, 24 sluices were built on the main line of Tonghui River. The names of 1 1 doors are Guangyuan Gate, Xicheng Gate, Chaozong Gate, Haizimen Gate, Wenming Gate, Weicun Gate, Jidong Gate, Jiao Ting Gate, Yangyin Gate, Tongzhou Gate and Hemen in turn from west to east. Some of the city gates were renamed in Zhenyuan. "Its West Gate was renamed Huichuan, Haizimen was renamed and clarified, Wenmingmen still used its old name, Weicunmen was renamed Huihe, Jidongmen was renamed Qingfeng, Jiao Ting Gate was renamed Ping Jin, Tongzhou Gate was renamed Tonglu, Hemen was renamed Li Qing, and Yangyinmen was renamed Puji." The park built here later was named Qingfeng Park.
Qingfeng Park has west gate, north gate (connected by stone arch bridge), east gate, south gate and southeast gate. The park gate of Xiyuan Park faces the Third Ring Road, and there is a huge stone pillar carved with patterns of sailboats, which looks very classical and beautiful.
Entering the park is an ecological scene with trees and peach trees reflecting the river bank. There are many winding paths in the park extending in all directions, some to the river, some to the east, some to the Woods in the south, and the green landscape on the roadside, and there is also a feeling of entering the forest.
Along the river to the east, there are several bow-shaped garden sails along the way, both of which are carved with dragons, which are very beautiful for tourists to enjoy the scenery and exercise. There are sail-shaped street lamps on the roadside, which have the feeling of transporting grain in those days.
On the edge of the central square, there is a historical allusion called "Wen Kui Yi Gu", and the inscription introduces the story of Cao Xueqin's friend. There are wine cans and stone tables, wine glasses and snacks on the table, as well as a copy of Cao Xueqin's "Stone", which was a scene of drinking tea with friends in that year.
After the small well, the central square of the park is the "Datong Sailing" scenic spot. It is also a place where many people do morning exercises, dance and practice. On the south side of the road, a "sail" garden landscape symbolizing the prosperity of water transport will be built.
In the south of the central square, there is an amusement park in the park. You can bring your children here to play on weekends and enjoy the fun of childhood.
On the southeast side of Qingfeng Park, there is a small hillside with bamboo forests on both sides. Along the winding path, there is another world. There are many red creepers on the roadside, which decorate the path very beautifully. There is a leisure space at the end of the road.
In the central square of Qingfeng Park, you can also see the tallest building in Beijing-China Zun.
If you want to enter the garden from the north gate, you must pass through the north bank of Huitong River, and there is also a river path on the north bank. Many people also run and walk their dogs here in the morning.
The Qingfeng stone arch bridge across Huitong River is also very elegant and exquisite against the sunrise.
Qingfeng Park is small, but the air is fresh and the scenery is pleasant, which is very suitable for morning running and exercise here.
