Since 2006, the first national fitness instructor professional qualification appraisal has been carried out in Shanghai Ruixing Fitness College, marking the full start of fitness instructor professional qualification appraisal in China. In 2007, the General Office of the State Council issued Document No.73 [2007] of the State Council "Notice on Cleaning up and Regulating Various Vocational Qualification-related Activities", which clearly focused on cleaning up all kinds of vocational qualification-related activities, including vocational qualifications and related examinations and certification activities established or held by various industry associations, societies and other social organizations, and vocational qualifications and related examinations and certification activities established or held by various enterprises for the society. All the relevant professional qualifications are included in the unified professional qualification management of the labor and social security department, and the fitness coach was formally included in the national professional qualification and skill appraisal in Lao She Han [2007] 103 (the fitness coach code is 404030 14 1), which means that the work of the fitness coach (personal trainer) must meet the national professional standards. The professional qualification of fitness instructors will be institutionalized, standardized and unified, and the level and professional level of fitness instructors will be comprehensively improved. The certificate will be issued by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the State Sports General Administration. This certificate is the only qualification certificate of a fitness instructor, and Ruixing Fitness College is a training base designated by the State Sports General Administration.
