Why can't compressing all the pictures in a word document reduce the file size?
I used word20 13 myself, and the information I found was that the "compressed picture" function inside was broken and completely useless. At present, the solution I choose is to process pictures manually, which is not suitable for processing a large number of documents, but it is still practical. Friends in need can try my method.

1. change the suffix name of the word document from. Docx is here. Zipper.

2. Open the compressed package and find the media folder under the word folder. When it is opened, all the pictures in the document will be in it. Take out the files inside and open them with other software. I use IfranView.

3. In order to be quick and effective, it is suggested to use shortcut keys, ctrl+r to change the file size. I'll change it to 50% here. Here you can choose to click "Half" on the right to realize it quickly.

4. Click the shortcut key S to save.

5. To process the next picture, you can directly click the wheel and then Ctrl-r->; Click "Half" and "OK"->; s

Note that the file extension should be consistent with the source file when saving, otherwise the picture cannot be displayed.

6. Delete all the pictures in the compressed package mentioned above, and then drag the processed files into the compressed package.

7. Modify the file suffix named. docx。

It is not particularly convenient, but it is acceptable. It's also because I don't have many documents to deal with here. If there are more files, I should be able to have command-line tools to batch images. In this case, it should be more efficient to write a script and handle them with one click.
