After fat is decomposed into glycerol and fatty acids, it needs to be transported to muscles to provide fuel for muscle exercise. Fat decomposition is carried out in adipose tissue, which is what we usually call fat meat. The transmission of fatty acids between fat meat and muscle depends on blood circulation.
Fatty acids can only be burned if they are transported to muscles through blood circulation. If it can't be transported, it won't burn if it is decomposed. Some people may ask, where have these things stopped burning? After fat is decomposed into glycerol and fatty acids, it will become triglycerides if it is not burned. This process is called esterification of fatty acids. In our adipose tissue, triglycerides have been decomposed and re-esterified. This is called triglyceride? The circulation of fatty acids, rather than the fat we usually imagine, does not change at ordinary times. Only when we exercise, or exercise for a certain time or intensity, will it be decomposed, burned and utilized.
In other words, people's fat decomposition ability is very strong, but it is often decomposed, and the body does not need so much. Finally, some of them got fat again. Generally speaking, in a quiet state, only 30% of fatty acids decomposed from fat are used for combustion, and 70% are re-esterified into fat. When you exercise, you need more fat, so after fat decomposition, most fatty acids are used for combustion, but a few are re-esterified into fat.
From the perspective of weight loss, we definitely hope that after fat decomposition, we can burn more and re-esterify it into fat as little as possible. So what factors will affect the re-esterification of fat? The blood supply of adipose tissue is an important factor during exercise.
When the blood supply of adipose tissue is insufficient during exercise, or the concentration of fatty acid in plasma is too high, it will limit the utilization of fat and promote the re-esterification of fat. Because fat is decomposed into fatty acids, it can only be burned if it is sent to muscle tissue through blood circulation, so in layman's terms, there is less blood in adipose tissue, or the concentration of fatty acids in blood is too high, so less fatty acids are taken away, and the rest can only be re-esterified. So drink enough water when you exercise. Drinking enough water can increase blood volume, dilute blood and help to lose weight.
