Longping this place, in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, first belonged to the State of Jin, then to the State of Zhao. The Qin Dynasty was the land of Handan and Julu counties. In the early years of the Western Han Dynasty, Liu Bang proclaimed himself emperor and established a county here, which was named Guang 'an County according to geographical conditions. After the Eastern Han Dynasty, Guang 'an county and province were merged in Wei and Jin Dynasties. Although the post-Zhao Dynasty established in Xerox retained the name of Guang 'an, it never formally established an institution here. In 488 AD, Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty restored Guang 'an County, and later generations allowed to set up Yinzhou in Guang 'an County, making Guang 'an the capital of two counties. In 60 1 year, according to the fact that the ancient emperor Yu Shun sealed the first statue here, the Sui government renamed Guang 'an County Xiangcheng County. When Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty was in Li Longji, it was changed to Zhaoqing County in 742 AD because there was a mausoleum in the county. At the beginning of Northern Song Dynasty, Emperor Taizong Zhao Guangyi personally marched in Taiyuan and sent troops to crusade against the Northern Han Dynasty. When he passed Daming in the Northern Expedition, a master named Song Jie knelt on the roadside to meet him. When Song Taizong asked his name, he was very happy to say, "Song Jie, a teacher of the Song Dynasty will be better than you" and stamped it on the spot. Then talking like a book, Emperor Taizong came to Zhaoqing County. When he saw that this area was slowly rising, "there are four hills without hills and the wilderness is flat", he named this place Longping. That's when the name of Longping County began.
This place, Yaoshan, was a city in the State of Jin in the Spring and Autumn Period, and it was called White People. Bairen County was established in the early Western Han Dynasty. Starting from the political needs, the Northern Wei Dynasty changed whites into whites in order to show "benevolent politics". In 6 18, the Tang government set up Donglongzhou in Bairen County. By the time of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, according to the fact that Tang Yao was sealed here and Yaoshan was in the territory, it was renamed Yaoshan County in 742 AD. In A.D. 1 127, nomadic people invaded the south on a large scale and occupied the counties north of Kaifeng, and Yaoshan was also under the rule of the Jin Dynasty. When Emperor Taizong of Jin Dynasty was transferred to Wantiao County, his father Zongyao changed Yaoshan County to Tangshan County to avoid taboo. It was not until 1925 that the name of Yaoshan County was restored. 1947, Yaoshan and Longping counties merged into Longyao County.
