First, clean the disk, right-click drive C- properties-disk cleaning, transfer the page position of virtual memory, and change my computer-properties-advanced-performance-advanced-virtual memory. Set disk C as a paging file, and click Set; Set the virtual page to another disk and customize the size. The number of settings is generally 1.5 to 2 times the memory, and then click Settings to restart the computer.

Turn off the system restore function. Under xp system, right-click My Computer Properties System Restore, and then select Close.

Under Vista system: Right-click Computer-Properties-Advanced System Settings-System Protection-Uncheck the box in front of the protected disk.

At the same time, disabling the hibernation function can also save disk space, but it is not recommended to turn off hibernation because it is a notebook computer and often needs to use this function.

At the same time, if one-button recovery is installed under the system, it will also occupy the space of disk C. Deleting backups regularly and making basic backups can also save disk space.
