Ten years ago, the sky in my hometown was gray. Cars on the road give off black and smelly exhaust gas. People's awareness of environmental protection is very poor, littering casually, and the water in the river also gives off an unpleasant smell.

How time flies! In 2023, in ten years, earth-shaking changes took place in my hometown.

Ten years later, the changes in my hometown surprised me. Under the blue sky and white clouds, there are tall and dense trees on both sides of the road. I want to stand guard. Smart trash cans have been installed on both sides of the street. Red is recyclable, yellow is not, and green is kitchen waste. If it is misplaced, it will give a voice prompt. Driving on the road is a modified solar car, which will no longer give off a pungent and unpleasant smell. Many people travel by bike or on foot, and everyone lives a low-carbon and environmentally friendly life. What makes me most happy is that overpass has been built at the gate of every school, and students can go to the overpass and cross the road to go home after school. How convenient! There are all kinds of flowers on both sides of the overpass. From a distance, the overpass is like a colorful rainbow!
