We often encounter situations that need to change the aspect ratio of a picture. For example, we need to change the following figure to 16:9 or even a larger aspect ratio.
If you draw the drawing directly, the main part is also deformed and can't be used.
The clipping tool lengthens the canvas, edits the content recognition rate and shortcut keys, and then lengthens the picture. It was found that the main part of the painting was not deformed.
Of course, you can also compress the picture, for example, make it narrow.
The content recognition scaling tool only changes the areas with low contrast and keeps the areas with high contrast, where contrast refers to the changes of color and light and shade. Generally speaking, in the main part, the contrast changes more than the background.
Then, the contrast of some pictures is not so great, what should I do? For example, the following picture is directly pulled out by the content recognition tool, and the main body is also deformed.
Then you need to use the lasso tool to roughly select the main characters, and then right-click in the selection section to save the selection, and choose the name' Renwu'
Why are you doing this? As I will say later, the content recognition scale tool has a protection option in the toolbar. After clicking, you find the newly established Renwu Constituency and choose him. In other words, this part of the constituency is protected from deformation.
Then when changing the scale of the picture, the character part will not be affected.
There is also an option to protect skin color, the literal meaning is easy to understand, and the character part is protected, but the actual application effect is not ideal, especially when the skin color and background are not much different.
Sometimes even if the protected area is selected, the main body will be deformed if it is pulled too much, so pulling it a little first, choosing OK when the main body is about to deform, and pulling it again will obviously improve the deformation of the main body.

I believe that through the practice of the tutorial, students have mastered the production steps of the tutorial, which means that the pictures with relatively simple backgrounds are more realistic to process. When you encounter some pictures with complex background, the subject will still be deformed after stretching, so you should use it according to the actual situation when learning PS.
