In fact, even with the later OTA, except for the active lane change function, the functions realized on Weilai ES6 still belong to the mainstream L2 level. Even compare the hardware facilities of mature suppliers, NIO from Weilai? Piolt still has room for further improvement.
But this is only in front of us. The hardware capability and chip computing capability laid by Weilai on ES6 are enough to support it to achieve a higher level of autonomous driving capability. However, it is still unknown when Weilai's autonomous driving team can push L3 or even higher-level autonomous driving functions for consumers.
