Legal basis: Article 14 of the Measures for Labor Protection of Female Workers in Zhejiang Province stipulates that after giving birth, the maternity leave and related benefits of female workers shall be implemented in accordance with the following provisions:
(a) normal delivery, postpartum leave of not less than 90 days (including prenatal leave 15 days);
(two) premature or delayed delivery for more than 7 months, according to the normal delivery;
(3) In case of cesarean section during childbirth, postpartum leave will be increased by 15 days;
(four) in the case of childbirth, the postpartum leave will be increased by 7 days;
(5) For multiple births, for each additional baby, the postpartum leave will be increased by 15 days;
(six) less than 3 months of pregnancy abortion (including natural abortion, induced abortion), postpartum leave for 20 days to 30 days;
(seven) pregnant for more than 3 months, abortion for more than 7 months, induced labor, postpartum leave for 50 days;
(8) If a female worker gives birth in a designated medical and health institution or fails to give birth in a designated medical and health institution due to urgent labor or other special reasons, the expenses for examination, medication, surgery, hospitalization and treatment shall be paid by the maternity insurance fund or borne by the employer according to regulations;
(9) The wages paid by female employees during maternity leave shall not affect their welfare benefits.
If a female worker still needs treatment after the maternity leave expires, it shall be handled in accordance with the provisions of the state on medical treatment for diseases.
