Alk means anaplasticlymphomakinase, and ALK is the abbreviation of anaplastic lymphokinase. Its mutation forms include overexpression, fusion with other genes and perforation. ALK (anaplasticlymphomakinase) belongs to the PTKs family and is mainly expressed in the nervous system. It is a relatively well-studied PTKs, which is closely related to the occurrence of various tumors.
The first case of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with ALK mutation was reported in 2007. Later, it was found that ALK fusion gene mutation is a common driver of non-small cell lung cancer. The mutation rate of ALK fusion gene in China non-small cell lung adenocarcinoma is about 5%, and the main patients are lung adenocarcinoma and non-smokers under 60 years old.
