1. Seasonal fluctuation
Cats' body temperature is two or three degrees higher than that of humans, so cats are prone to catch cold when the seasons change. Kittens are more likely to catch cold, and the temperature difference between day and night is large. If they are not aired in time, they may freeze and cause diarrhea. Solution: basically self-heal, pay attention to keep warm and indoor temperature control.
2. Stress response
The sudden change of living environment will lead to the nervousness and fear of cats (especially kittens and timid cats), resulting in emotional type diarrhea. Solution: You can also heal yourself and play with them more to make the kitten happy. Don't stimulate it.
3. Dyspepsia
Dyspepsia is the most common cause of diarrhea in cat owners, which can be divided into several reasons: changing food, eating too much meat, eating milk and other foods that cats can't digest. Solution: stop eating for one day, ensure adequate drinking water, change intestinal food, and fast indigestible foods such as canned meat.
4. Intestinal flora imbalance
If the cat has good mental state and appetite except diarrhea, and has no other symptoms for a long time, and its weight has remained at a certain level or even increased, it can basically be judged that it is its own intestinal sensitivity or intestinal flora imbalance. Solution: It is recommended to feed probiotics regularly for 1-3 months. Gastrointestinal tract repair is a long process. It is forbidden to fish for three days and dry the net for two days.
5. Parasite problem
If cats have bloody diarrhea, parasites are likely to be an important reason for cats to have bloody diarrhea. How do you know if a cat has parasites? Observe whether the cat is thin or not, how abnormal its appetite is, and has not been repelled. Diarrhea is probably caused by parasites. Solution: Insect repellent immediately.
6. Enteritis or cat plague
This should be treated with caution, especially for kittens. Long-term diarrhea in kittens can easily lead to dehydration and life-threatening, and it can be clearly felt that cats are in a bad mental state and have no appetite. If it is vomiting and diarrhea, be alert to whether it is cat plague. Although cat plague is difficult to treat, it is not an incurable disease. It is possible to recover as long as it is treated in time. As long as it is found as soon as possible, it should be sent to the hospital as soon as possible. Solution: Don't abuse drugs, just to be safe, see a professional veterinarian immediately.
Take preventive measures at ordinary times, reduce the chance of cats having diarrhea, and better help cats live and grow.
