It is forbidden to bring fresh goods into Australia. If you bring food, you'd better fill out the declaration form for inspection.

Australian customs law prohibits drugs, steroids, weapons, guns and protected wildlife from being brought into Australia. Some common items, such as fresh or packaged food, fruits, eggs, meat, plants, seeds, fur, soil and sand, are also prohibited.
