I personally don't think so. If you want to lose weight, I suggest:

Don't eat anything after dinner every night until you go to bed. If you are hungry again, you will get used to it after a while.

Do 20 push-ups in bed while sleeping, or add some sit-ups or stick to flat support for one minute. After a year or two, you may find that you may develop abdominal muscles.
