Steel wire straightener is mechanical straightening. Straightener should not have the function of "slimming". See article 5.3.3 of Code for Construction of Concrete Structure Engineering (GB50666-20 1 1).

The function of the wire straightener can only be to straighten the wire without local bending, surface damage and extension.
