Ryoko Kawaguchi is a famous Japanese modernist dancer who studied under the German expressionist dancer Mary Weigmann. Wu Xiaobang, the founder of China New Dance Movement, studied under Gao Zai in Jiangkou. Kawaguchi's thought of dance is embodied in his book "Dance Creation Law". The book consists of six chapters, which are divided into introduction, cornerstone, composition, performance, space and time.
