I remember when I first learned to swim, I was just a timid girl who was afraid of water. Now I have become white stripes in the waves, and all these changes are due to my cousin's teaching. When I first started learning, I was always afraid of sinking when I entered the water, and I was even more afraid of accidentally drinking the water, so I kept holding on to the swimming ring and didn't dare to let go. My cousin said, "If you don't drink a few mouthfuls of water, you will never learn, let alone anyone who can swim at birth?" So my cousin began to teach me the basic movements of swimming, rhythmic breathing and floating, then advanced to freestyle and breaststroke, and finally taught me how to do backflips in the water!
With these abilities, my cousin decided to take me to the swimming association. I was very nervous for the first time. I didn't know the water was so deep until I got into the water, so I cried in fear, because my fear ran out again. However, with my cousin's encouragement, I swam the whole course slowly. When I reached the finish line, I felt extremely confident, because I beat myself again.
Swimming brings me a lot of happiness. It makes me have many wonderful memories and experiences, and it also makes me the envy of my friends and family. Swimming is not only a sport, but also a pleasure for me. Although I didn't win the prize from the competition, for me, participation is an accumulation of experience, which taught me to "prepare well every time". Finally, through the process of learning swimming by myself, I want to share my heart loudly-"As long as you do what you want to do and do it with your heart, there will be sweet results."
