Prescription: Orange Garden Decoction and Guishen Pill.
20g of Radix Codonopsis, 20g of Radix Astragali, Atractylodis Rhizoma 15g, 6g of Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata, Radix Dipsaci 15g, Fructus Psoraleae 15g, 20g of Semen Cuscutae, Folium Artemisiae Argyi 10g, 30g of Polygonum Multiflori Radix, and 0/2g of Radix Angelicae Sinensis.
Solution: The prescription uses Radix Codonopsis, Radix Astragali and Atractylodis Macrocephalae to strengthen spleen and replenish qi, Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, Fructus Psoraleae, Semen Cuscutae, Radix Dipsaci to tonify kidney, Folium Artemisiae Argyi to warm channels to stop bleeding and regulate menstruation, Radix Polygoni Multiflori and Radix Angelicae Sinensis to nourish blood and regulate menstruation, and Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata to regulate various drugs.
Addition and subtraction: when menstrual period is heavy, remove Angelica sinensis, and add Ejiao 12g (dissolved separately), cuttlefish bone 12g, Rosa laevigata 30g and charcoal of Artemisia argyi to stop bleeding. Prolonged menstrual period, continuous, add fried Pollen Typhae 10g, motherwort 30g, remove blood stasis and stop bleeding. Eat less, add 20 grams of yam, 9 grams of Amomum villosum (below) and 6 grams of dried tangerine peel, and promote qi, spleen and stomach. If the menstrual period is not too late, add 9 grams of Morinda officinalis, 9 grams of Achyranthes bidentata 12 grams, 30 grams of Spatholobus Spatholobus, and 0/0 grams of Chuanxiong/kloc-0 to dredge menstruation. Take more rest during menstruation, keep warm and drink more brown sugar water. I wish you good health!
