First, prepare your target PDF file, which may be quite large. If the file is small, there is no need to compress it again.

Double-click the PDF file and we will open it with WPS. If it is not the default program, we need to right-click the file and select WPS.

In the upper left corner of WPS, we choose to reduce the size of PDF file through the file bar. You may be asked to install plug-ins at this time.

Next, we can choose to reduce the size of the PDF file by default. If you have an idea, move on to the next step. Considering that the file to be shared needs to be lightweight, here we choose to compress the file, make it as small as possible, and share it directly on the network disk.

Finally, we can also use the network disk to download and replace the original files, saving the hard disk space stored locally.
