The purchase funds of instruments and equipment of Mechanical Engineering Practice Teaching Center are all included in the "Tenth Five-Year Plan", "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" and "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" of the school, and the investment is completely guaranteed. The center has more than 800 pieces of various instruments and equipment/KLOC-0, with a value of more than 32.9 million yuan. Since 2000, the Ministry of Finance and local governments have successively invested17.8 million yuan through special funds for the construction of basic laboratories in schools, yen loan projects and basic courses laboratories in colleges and universities. These funds are mainly used to improve the teaching environment and purchase experimental equipment. In addition, the center also raised 300,000 yuan to buy computers, printers and teaching equipment for low-value consumables. Mechanical engineering practice teaching center invested more than 23 million yuan to purchase instruments and equipment, and updated more than 70% of instruments and equipment. The intact rate of instruments and equipment is over 96.5%, and the comprehensive utilization rate of equipment is 96%.

In addition, in order to cooperate with the experimental teaching reform and improve the scientific research and practical ability of teachers and students, the Mechanical Engineering Practice Teaching Center actively carried out the self-research and self-made work of experimental equipment according to its own situation, and achieved good results, and successively developed "J 1CA6 146 CNC lathe", "six-axis four-linkage CNC hobbing machine", "drilling and milling compound machining center" and "multifunctional CNC compound". These self-developed devices have played an important role in practical teaching.
