What is Yan?
Emotional symbol (= Smiley)

In Japanese, it refers to the use of punctuation marks and letters to form a pattern like a character's expression, and later developed into a large pattern with symbols depicting multiple lines (called ACSII art). The earliest Chinese character in the world is:-) (turn 90 degrees, smiling face), and a similar one appeared at the same time:-(,; -), B-), among which XD (Laughter) is very popular in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Some instant messaging software and even mobile phones have included commonly used facial characters. The input facial characters can be converted into real corresponding patterns. After the word Yan spread to Japan, Japanese netizens invented the word Yan in another direction, such as _, T.T, -_-b, etc. Then orz (the way people kneel in frustration) appeared. In addition, there is also the word "embarrassed" in Chinese.
