Where is the organic light-emitting diode screen of mobile phone?
The full name of organic light-emitting diode is Organic-Light-Emitting-Diode, which is also called AMOLED in mobile phone circle.

Corresponding to the organic light emitting diode is the liquid crystal display. Under LCD, it can be divided into TN, IPS, PLS, MVA, PVA and so on. Among them, TN is the LCD with the worst viewing angle, and IPS/PLS (hard screen) and MVA/PVA (soft screen) belong to the branches of wide viewing angle LCD.

The core of LCD and organic light emitting diode is thin film transistor (TFT), which needs to be used for pixel control.

In the field of LCD, CCFL tube was used as the light source to light TFT in the early screen. Later, in order to save energy, the light source was replaced by LED light bar.

In the organic light-emitting diode, a thin layer of organic materials such as tricolor or white is coated on the surface of each TFT pixel (phosphor, if white organic materials are used, tricolor filters need to be added on the surface of the TFT), thus forming densely arranged independent light-emitting organic light-emitting LED lamp beads. Organic light-emitting diodes are called self-luminous because they are equivalent to one pixel and can be displayed without additional lights or light bars.

Compared with LCD, organic light-emitting diode materials have the characteristics of self-luminescence, and do not need the assistance of light source. Therefore, the OLED screen can be made thinner and has the advantages of wide viewing angle, low power consumption, high contrast, fast response and bright colors.

It can be said that all products using OLED screens are absolutely high-end goods in their respective fields. For example, in the field of mobile phones, only AMOLED can be made into top-level curved screens, and notebooks equipped with organic light-emitting diode screens can only be used by niche models starting at 10,000 yuan, such as ThinkPad X 1 Carbon. As for OLED TV, it is synonymous with "not cheap".

Let's just say that if the mobile phone uses (AM) organic light-emitting diodes, there will be no light leakage problem, and it will be more refreshing when watching pictures and videos; If the notebook uses organic light-emitting diodes, the children's shoes engaged in image design do not need an external display, and there is no need to worry about the inaccurate color reproduction affecting the PS effect; If the TV uses organic light-emitting diodes, it is definitely a visual enjoyment.
