1. Ketogenic diet has health risks.
Recently, many people are obsessed with ketogenic diet, thinking that this method is helpful to lose weight quickly. They only see the obvious weight loss effect brought by not eating staple food, but ignore the health hidden dangers. The so-called ketogenic diet refers to a way to lose weight by burning protein and fat under the mode of no or low carbohydrate diet.
Although this method avoids the direct conversion of carbohydrates into fat and can burn excess fat in the body, it ignores two very important problems. First, body fat is caused by excessive energy intake, but energy is not completely equal to carbohydrates. Eating protein and too much fat will also bring high energy. Secondly, when taking ketogenic diet, it means that the body will produce a large number of ketone bodies, accompanied by high ketone bodies, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and other uncomfortable symptoms, which will seriously harm organs such as kidneys. Therefore, the ketogenic diet is not as healthy and safe as expected.
2. Slimming is not as fast as possible.
As the saying goes, fat people are not eaten in one bite, and the accumulation of fat is naturally caused by long-term accumulation. Therefore, the process of losing weight should also be promoted according to time. Generally speaking, it is reasonable to reduce 0.5- 1 kg per week. Losing weight too fast may be harmful to health.
On the one hand, losing weight too fast may turn into "loose lion" skin. No matter how elastic the skin is, it can't keep up with the rapid burning of fat. This may lead to increased wrinkles and decreased elasticity, and women may lose weight too fast, leading to sagging breasts. On the other hand, losing weight too fast may induce osteoporosis. The process of losing weight consumes calcium. If the loss is too fast and calcium supplementation can't keep up, it will consume calcium in bones and may induce osteoporosis. In addition, rapid weight loss will lead to high content of free fatty acids in blood, and induce heart, liver and kidney diseases. Therefore, weight loss should be carried out in an orderly manner.
Lying down after a meal does not necessarily make you fat.
Lying down after a meal seems to be the most enjoyable thing for many office workers. But there are always people around me who say that you must never lie down and rest after meals, and you will get fat. In fact, it is a good thing to lie down or rest on the sofa after dinner, so don't worry about getting fat.
First of all, lying down after meals will not increase the absorption rate of nutrients in the gastrointestinal tract, nor will it reduce the basal metabolic rate. Secondly, proper rest after meals can reduce the burden on the stomach. If you exercise immediately after a meal, the blood will flow to the muscles and brain, and the blood supply to the stomach will be insufficient, and digestion will be limited, resulting in gastrointestinal discomfort. Therefore, it is ok to lie down and rest after meals, usually 10- 15 minutes.
