Characteristics of Shouguang vegetables
Shouguang is the hometown of Jia Sixie, the author of Qi Yao Min Shu, the world's first agricultural masterpiece. It is the birthplace of warm vegetable greenhouses in China and the largest vegetable production base in China. (1) Shouguang is the "experimental field" of greenhouse vegetables in China, and there are many varieties of vegetables in Shouguang. In recent years, * * * has introduced more than 2,000 new varieties from more than 30 countries and regions such as the United States, the Netherlands and Israel. , and eliminated 1500 varieties through experiments, and 500 new varieties landed in farmers' greenhouses. (2) Shouguang Vegetable initiated the second revolution of vegetable industry with the development of green food and vegetables as the main content. Focus on improving the quality of vegetables, attach importance to the construction of pollution-free vegetable bases, and strengthen the production monitoring of pollution-free vegetables from before, during and after delivery. Five pollution-free vegetable bases will be built, including vegetable high-tech demonstration park, Wen Jia, Sanyuanzhu, Diaoyutai and Luocheng. The city's pollution-free vegetables have grown to 200,000 mu, and more than 20 varieties 100 varieties have passed the certification of the National Green Food Development Center and obtained the green food certificate. (3) Shouguang vegetable brand effect is outstanding. Popularizing standardized management measures, strengthening quality control, carrying out vegetable base identification, product certification and trademark registration have promoted the upgrading of vegetable production in Shouguang. A large area of land was reorganized according to the same standard, which started the "green brand" and "ecological brand" of Shouguang vegetables and created Shouguang "brand vegetables". (4) Shouguang has a large scale of vegetable planting. Shouguang City has a vegetable planting area of 700,000 mu and a total output of 3 billion kg. There are 200,000 greenhouses and 50,000 arch sheds in winter. About two-thirds of greenhouses in winter are planted twice a year, namely autumn stubble and early spring stubble, and one-third are planted once a year, namely winter stubble. Generally speaking, autumn stubble in greenhouse is sown or planted around beginning of autumn, and vegetable garden is pulled out around New Year's Day. Generally, early spring crops in greenhouses begin to grow seedlings around New Year's Day, and crops with long seedling stage need to be taken out from several seedbeds to grow seedlings in advance. It is usually planted in February and pulled out in May-June. Most of the vegetables in the arch shed make a fuss about the stubble in late autumn and early spring, such as a variety of fast-growing lettuce or vegetables with short growth period.
