Stealing Reading is the second text in the fourth section "Unforgettable Past" in the first volume of the fifth grade of primary school Chinese in Changchun Edition. Modern Chinese dictionaries have three explanations for "stealing": ① stealing; 2 sneaking around; Modesty refers to oneself. Then, in the word "stealing", we should choose "stealing", which means reading books secretly. Reading is a glorious thing. Why did the author Lin "secretly read" the book?
According to the background information, we can know that in China before liberation, (1949) not everyone could enter the bookstore. Because of poverty, working people can't afford books and have no access to knowledge all their lives. Some children from poor families are eager to study, but they can only watch others carry schoolbags to school. Those families that can only provide schooling for their children have no spare money to buy extra-curricular books for their children. Reading is the enjoyment of wealthy families. People who have no money to study will be teased by others and considered as "unappreciative". In that society, the status of men and women is very different. "A woman without talent is virtue." Because of this, few girls study. Girls who have studied for several years stay at home early and get married at the age of fifteen or sixteen. Forest (19 18 ~ 200 1) was born in that special era. She is a great woman writer and is called "grandmother figure". She wrote 18 books, and her writing style and writing technique represented a writing style of that era. Later books became famous because of the famous books she read when she was a child.
She was born in Japan and came to Beijing with her parents when she was 5 years old. Her father is a teacher, and she grew up in an intellectual family. Although the family provides for her to go to college, she has no spare money to buy books for her because of poor conditions at home. However, her love of reading has never been relaxed for a moment, and she has tried to read many books that she dreams of, laying a solid foundation for her future writing.
Lin's "stealing reading" lies in her love of reading and her thirst for knowledge. I love reading, but I have no money to buy books, so I have to steal them. This is Lin's childhood study career.
Second, dialogue with the text
1, understand the idea of the text.
In chronological order, the text includes three parts: "rushing to the bookstore after school", "stealing from the bookstore" and "reluctantly leaving at night", but the full text is not about what happened in one day, but about her complicated feelings of studying in the bookstore for a long time. If we use this clue to organize teaching, it will definitely weaken the emotion of the article. The text takes "stealing reading" as a clue, describes the unique feeling and complex taste of "stealing reading" in delicate and vivid language, and shows my love for reading and thirst for knowledge. The central sentence of the article is "I am very happy and scared-the taste of stealing!" I was deeply attracted, so I set a question for the study of this paper, that is, what sentences made you feel the author's happiness and fear when he stole? Find the relevant sentences from the text, draw a line and read them. Talk to you later. The solution of this problem depends on the dialogue with the text, teachers and peers. At the same time, this problem not only combines understanding and emotional reading, but also embodies the teaching concept of taking students as the main body.
Based on the above analysis, I have established the following teaching objectives:
1, know seven new words such as "stealing" and "liquid", write four new words such as "stealing" and 14, and correctly write words such as "supporting, watering the rain and starving".
2. Read the text correctly, fluently and emotionally, master the main contents of the text, and understand the author's thoughts and feelings of loving reading.
3. Focus on the sentences describing the actions and psychological activities of "I", and experience the subtlety of the author's words and sentences.
2. Understand the text language
As soon as I read the title, I couldn't help thinking of the sentence "Stealing a book is not stealing" written by Kong Yiji Luxun. Kong Yiji "stole" books, but this article "stole" reading, which tastes quite different. After reading the text, we will follow this little girl who timidly hides among adults and studies in a hurry and greedily, and experience the pain of leg pain and hunger, the pain of worry, panic and fear, and the joy of surprise, happiness and satisfaction when reading. This complex feeling of mind and body is exactly the taste of stealing.
(1) worried
"I walked and thought,' Where did you study yesterday? Where is that book? The third row on the left, not bad ... When I walked to the door, I saw that the bookstore was still crowded with customers as usual. I can feel at ease. But I'm worried that this book won't sell, because I've seen someone buy it for several days, and it seems that only one or two books were left yesterday. "
The bookstore is crowded with customers, how lively it should be. For ordinary people, reading in such an environment is really bad! However, I think I can "feel at ease". From this peace of mind, we seem to be able to touch the author's unspoken worry on the way to hurry-there are very few people worried, and no one can cover it up for himself, so he can't "steal". But this kind of peace of mind was immediately replaced by another kind of "worry"-worrying that the unfinished book could not be sold. The reason why I have this complicated mentality is to "steal" that book!
(2) Emergency
"I stepped into the store and exulted that no one noticed. I stood on tiptoe and got under the adult's armpit. Yo, I messed up my short hair. It doesn't matter. I was finally admitted. In the rows of colorful books, my eyes looked eagerly for it, but I couldn't find it. Look again from the beginning. Ah! It was here, but it wasn't here yesterday. "
A "stand" and a "drill" let us see the former author's caution when stealing, and the short hair that was confused and neglected and the seemingly rude "squeeze" let us see the urgency of stealing. Gently, quietly, secretly, just to steal a beloved book. "Start from the beginning and look for it again." I seem to see her big clear eyes full of anxiety, and I can even hear her deep prayer-"Don't be bought by anyone." "ah! Here it is! " I seem to hear the author's pounding heart. What a surprise!
(3) greed
"Quickly open the book, one page, two pages, I like a hungry wolf, greedily read. I am very happy and scared-the taste of stealing! "
I opened the book in a hurry, as if I heard the sound of turning pages The author said that he "reads greedily like a hungry wolf." "Greed" is a derogatory term, which vividly shows the hungry reading of young authors.
(4) Difficulties
"I'm afraid of being found by the bookstore owner. Whenever I feel that the environment at that time is no longer suitable for continuing my studies, I will put down my books, go out and walk into another one. Sometimes, a book has to be read in several bookstores. "
"At that time, the environment was no longer suitable for reading." I don't know what kind of environment. Maybe there are fewer people, maybe they have been warned by the clerk, or there is no hiding place. I only know that the little girl became interested and sensitive because she loved reading. She stole with dignity, and had to go back and forth between several bookstores to finish reading a book, and it would take several days. That hard work and hardship can only be borne by those who love reading. Reading is difficult, so difficult that sometimes you lose your dignity. In Lin's original work, I wrote a passage like this:
But what I came at the same time was a pair of huge palms, with ten fingers far apart, pressing the whole book: "Are you going to buy it or not?"
The noise was loud and alarmed other customers. They all turned around and faced me. I'm like a caught thief, ashamed and embarrassed, and my face is red. I looked up at him shyly, the owner of the bookstore, and he looked down at me majestically. The shop is his, and he has every reason to treat me like this. I protested in a voice that was almost crying: "Can't you even watch?" In fact, how weak my voice is!
Under the eyes of the public, I almost walked out of the store in confusion, followed by the boss's sneer: "Not once! That tone is very tolerant to me, as if I were an unforgivable old thief. But did I steal something? I'm just a poor student who can't afford and is eager to read that book!
What kind of anxiety and embarrassment is that? Decades later, through these few words, we can still feel the embarrassment of Lin's escape.
(5) Wisdom
"The happiest thing is the rain. The harder it rains, the happier I am, because then I have enough reason to stay in the bookstore. It's like hiding under the eaves from the rain. You're always embarrassed to kick me out, aren't you? I sometimes pretend to frown and look at the street from time to time, as if to say, "I can't go back to this rain." In fact, my heart shouted happily: "bigger! "bigger!"
This passage is the most touching one in the whole text. After reading this little "conspiracy", people can't help laughing. What a clever thief! It seems that we can see some naughty, proud and smiling faces on that lovely little face, and every reader can feel the joy and happiness of that little plot. However, while I am thankful for the little girl, a kind of bitterness will come to my mind. What makes a child happy most is that it rains, which is why he can read freely.
(6) Bitterness
"There was a smell of food in the restaurant, and I was hungry. At that time, I couldn't help daydreaming: if only I had money in my pocket! I went to eat a bowl of hot noodle soup. When I got back here, someone had put a sofa on it and sat comfortably and continued watching. My legs are very sour, so I have to support them alternately with one leg, and sometimes I will rest on the bookcase for a while. "
Such a difficult feeling even made me daydream: if only I had money in my pocket! If only someone had put a sofa on it! When two legs are tired, it is unbearable to support one leg alternately. Leaning against the bookcase is also a kind of rest. Squat down for a while, let tired legs change the way of bearing weight, or simply find a clean place to sit for a while. Reading has become a physical activity here! This is not a bitter thing for a teenage girl! We can't help sighing: What a sad experience behind stealing.
(7) Sweet
"Every time the fluorescent lamp in the bookstore suddenly lights up, I realize that I have been standing here reading for more than two hours. I closed the book and swallowed as if I had swallowed all my wisdom, and then reluctantly put the book back on the shelf. "
Swimming in the sea of books, forgetting everything, two hours of fatigue, numb legs and feet are nothing, even if the food floating in the restaurant is not as good as swallowing wisdom and happiness. Putting the book back on the shelf and walking in the street is full of heavy wisdom, and that kind of happiness can only be realized by people who love books.
After careful consideration, I found that although the author used a lot of pen and ink to describe the fear, hunger and fatigue of "stealing", her foothold was "happiness" Happy because of reading, happy because of acquiring knowledge, and extremely happy because of acquiring wisdom. So in teaching, I want students to realize that the author ignores other tastes for reading, and then understand the author's heart.
Third, talk to the editor.
The purpose of writing this text is to guide students to master the main content and realize the author's love for reading and thirst for knowledge; The second is to experience the author's method of expressing feelings through action and psychological activities in reading; The third is to be infected by the love of reading and stimulate the interest in reading. Based on this purpose, I guide students to grasp key words and phrases and teach them by comparison, reading aloud and feeling. After class, arrange for students to collect famous books to read stories or epigrams, and read Lin's works, so that the feeling of "loving books" extends from class to extracurricular.
At the same time, learn the expression characteristics of the author:
1, using monologues to describe the mood, reflects the desire for knowledge.
For example, "I walked and thought,' Where did you study yesterday? Where is that book? The third row on the left is not bad ... "Expressing the desire to find the book that I didn't finish reading yesterday in the form of monologues; Another example is "ah! Here, it is not where it was yesterday "to express the surprise of finally finding that this book has not been sold and can be read again;" Another example is "It's like hiding under the eaves from the rain, you are always embarrassed to drive me away", and use the natural excuse of "It's raining, stay for a day" to comfort yourself and read happily in the bookstore. The psychological description of this monologue, on the one hand, expresses the author's enjoyment of reading, on the other hand, writes that the author should always pay attention to the surrounding environment, vividly expressing the emotional changes of "I", which makes people feel immersive.
2. Use comparative description to experience the anxiety and happiness of reading.
I wrote "I" and "Steal" with "I'm happy and afraid-the taste of stealing". There are joys, sorrows, joys and fears. What worries and fears is that the boss finds out that he stole the book, and he is afraid that the book will be bought and he can't read any more. Therefore, you must rush to the bookstore after school, reluctantly leave at night, timidly hide among adults and borrow rain to study. The author experienced anxiety, fear and fear in reading; At the same time, I have to endure leg pain and hunger. happy
What is satisfying is that "I closed the book and swallowed a mouthful of saliva, as if I had swallowed all my wisdom", which embodies the happiness and satisfaction of reading. The article skillfully uses the method of contrast, showing my love for reading and my thirst for knowledge.
3. Delicate action description highlights the author's reading fatigue resistance.
For example, "I stepped into the store door, secretly pleased that no one noticed." I stood on tiptoe and got under the adult's armpit. Yo, I messed up my short hair. It doesn't matter. I finally squeezed in. Here, a series of actions of "stepping, stepping, drilling and squeezing" are used to describe the number of customers in the bookstore, which shows the author's hungry reading psychology. Another example: "My legs are so sore that I have to support them alternately with one leg, and sometimes I will rest on the bookcase for a while." This sentence uses actions such as "alternating, supporting, leaning and resting" to explain how long and tired I am at the reading station, but the purpose is to read more and gain more knowledge.
4. Clever use of metaphor highlights the author's greedy reading.
"I opened the book in a hurry, one page or two, and I read it greedily like a hungry wolf." "Hungry Wolf" is a metaphor for "I" reading greedily, which embodies the author's love for reading and pursuit of knowledge.
5. Several forms of stealing descriptions are intended to highlight the hunger for reading.
Learn in a different environment. Because the author is afraid of being discovered by the boss, he often changes the environment. When he is not fit to continue studying, he will put down his books and walk into another shop. Sometimes he has to go to several bookstores to finish reading a book. I hope to have more customers. Because there are many people in the bookstore, they will not be noticed; The author also uses "hiding" and "sticking to adults" to read. I hope it rains heavily. "The harder it rains, the happier I am." Sometimes I will pretend to frown, look at the street and shout, "Be bigger! Bigger! " There is every reason to read more books in the bookstore. Endure hunger and study hard.
The language of this paper is concise and vivid, so we should pay attention to reading aloud in teaching and guide students to read vividly as much as possible. Although the article has no twists and turns, the author's heart fluctuates because of stealing. Students should be guided to read the surprise when the author meets the book, the joy and fear of stealing in a hurry, the joy of reading in rainy days, and the nostalgia and satisfaction different from the book. ...
