Jiangnan Silk Museum shows the glorious course of China silk with good hardware conditions, and shows the process of sericulture, reeling, cutting and wearing in the spacious cultural exhibition hall, so that tourists can wander along the Maritime Silk Road and feel the colorful costume culture of China.
China was the first country in the world to invent sericulture, silk reeling, silk weaving, printing and dyeing. Lei Zu, Princess of the Yellow Emperor, was the first person to invent sericulture, with a history of more than 6,000 years. Brocade rusts China, and clothes cover the world-as early as 400 AD, gorgeous silk spread to Asia, Europe and Africa along with the Silk Road, and was deeply loved by people all over the world, so China is also called the "Silk Country" in the world. Jiangnan area in China is the origin of silk, and it became the national silk weaving center in Tang and Song Dynasties, so it is also called "the hometown of silk". Jiangnan silk is pure in texture, gorgeous in color and exquisite in workmanship, and has the reputation of "Silk Queen"!
The Jiangnan Silk Museum in Suzhou, the first place of weaving in the south of the Yangtze River, aims to publicize China silk culture, express the essence of silk, and introduce the origin, development and technological process of silk by means of exhibition. The Silk Museum is full of rich ancient Jiangnan cultural implications, and its style is fresh and elegant.
