New Caledonia (French: New Caledonia) is located near the Tropic of Capricorn and is a French overseas territory in the southwest of Oceania. The whole region is mainly composed of New Caledonia and Loyal. As one of the overseas territories of France, apart from the official language French, Melanesian and Polynesian are also spoken here.

The famous English navigator discovered the island of New Caledonia in his global expedition. The present Cook Strait is named after him. He also found that New Zealand is made up of two islands on both sides of this strait, not a connected continent. Cook also invented a method to treat sailors' scurvy.

The island of New Caledonia means' heaven at the end of the world' in French, so it is called' the place closest to heaven'. It is located between Australia and New Zealand, in the middle of the South Pacific, with a total area of one third of the Korean Peninsula, and is an overseas territory of France. The temperature is between 20 and 28 degrees all the year round, surrounded by beautiful coral reefs and dense virgin forests, which are very popular with tourists from all over the world.
