How can I plan my day and make it more efficient?
Skip breakfast and drink black coffee. No matter what you are told (and what others say in their posts), breakfast is not the most important meal of the day.

In fact, by skipping breakfast and intermittent fasting (only 8 hours a day, for example, 12 to 8 pm), you can expect: reducing inflammation (source), improving weight loss (source), healthy cholesterol level, improving cognitive ability and attention (source), and improving heart health (source).

Increase the release of human growth hormone, stronger bones, bigger muscles, longer life (source), and so on.

So no ...

You shouldn't start your day with breakfast.

On the contrary, by choosing black coffee, you will improve your attention, energy and clarity in the morning, make you more efficient and maintain a higher level of health.

Do yoga and meditation 15 minutes

Yoga and meditation are not only good ways to stretch your body, calm your mind and get happiness and peace, but also have many other benefits to your cognitive ability.

Studies have shown that yoga and meditation, especially when combined together, help to improve attention, memory and thinking agility, and also help to prevent neurodegenerative diseases.

Spend 15 minutes doing a quick morning yoga flow, and then finish with meditation to make your morning full of energy.

Review your plans for the day.

Although the old saying "plan failure is plan failure" seems to be a cliche, it is full of truth.

If you don't have a clear action plan to start your day, you will start to have an obstacle.

You fell behind before you started. You are letting yourself fail.

Fortunately, the solution is simple.

Write down the plan for the day the night before, and the first thing in the morning is to review, so as to prepare your brain and remind yourself of what you need to do and why.

Although this strategy is simple, it will work wonders for your productivity and overall performance.

Read the biography on page 10.

One of my personal favorite ways to start a day is to spend 10 minutes reading a good biography.

Different from traditional business or self-help books, biographies combine the subtle experiences and lessons of successful people in real life to tell stories skillfully.

Compared with reading Tony Robbins and Jack, will you get a unique and unusual angle from the "great" mentality and feel more inspired and motivated to solve the problems of the day? Canfield's books (I like these two guys, but I prefer to read their contents after my day's work).

I suggest you read the biographies of john rockefeller, Teddy Roosevelt, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Leonardo da Vinci, and look for some real inspiration and paradigm shift to change your mind.

Go outdoors in the sun barefoot.

Although it seems silly, more and more studies have proved the positive benefits of "grounding gas" (standing barefoot outdoors) and sunbathing in the morning to the body and cognition.

This will not only make you feel great, make you full of energy, relax and prepare for the day, but also these two habits can improve the quality of sleep, reduce anxiety, help muscle recovery, healthy skin, reduce inflammation, improve mood and so on.

Bottom line?

Take off your Nike shoes, take off your shirt and stand in the sun in your backyard.

You'll be glad you did.

get to work

Most people's routine activities in the morning last 45-90 minutes, but I prefer to keep it short.

After sunshine, yoga, meditation and reading, I immediately began to work, using the mental energy in the morning to deal with my most important and challenging tasks.

Your affirmation and three hours of reading can wait until your biggest project is completed.

Get up, be fresh and get to work.
