1, delete the system file backup sfc.exe/Purge cache (not used by ordinary users. )

2. Delete the Driver.cab file (73mb) in the windows\driver cache\i386 directory of driver backup.

3. Cancel the system restore. (Overall, the system restore function is good. It is recommended to use all disks except the one installed by xp. If the hard disk space is not enough one day, you can delete some earlier restore points through the system cleaner. )

4. Delete the help file. (Subtract more than 40 mb) The file size of the Chinese localization package is 92 megabytes, so comrades who just started using xp had better not delete it. )

5. Delete the files under \WINDOWS\system32\dllcache. (Subtract 200-300 MB) (This is a spare dll file, just copy the installation file. )

6. Transfer my documents and IE's temporary folder to other disks (partitions). At the same time, it is good for the speed of the system and the hard disk. If you use a dual system, it is best to put the IE temporary files of the two systems in the same folder, which will speed up and save space. )

7. Transfer the virtual memory to another disk. It's best to put these things and the files downloaded temporarily in a small partition, which is also convenient for sorting out the hard disk. )

8. Install application software on other disks. (this is also good for reinstalling the system, which can save a lot of things. )

9. Delete the input method that is not used under \windows\ime. (Japanese, Korean, traditional Chinese input method, 84.5MB) (which is which? Find out for yourself! Sometimes you have to use your brain. Do some exercise! )

10, if xp is installed with ntfs, the site itself will be saved.
