Highlight: Yanling Ancient Quarry Site is a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit and the only red sandstone quarry site in Dongguan. The main landscape remains of the site include "Cliff Stone Carving", "Eighteen Rooms", "Patian Stone", "Wolong Stone" and "Optimus Prime", which show the cultural and tourism value of characteristic red sandstone. It is speculated that the ancient quarry of Yanling in Hongshishan began to be excavated at the end of Song Dynasty and was transported by Dongjiang waterway.
