What are the interesting scenic spots in Nanjing?
Nanjing is the city I once yearned for. It not only has profound cultural heritage, but also has many royal architectural relics. It is also the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties. This is a city that fascinates me deeply. For this reason, I made a long-term strategy and preparation, and finally decided to start a trip to Nanjing to experience Jinling culture at close range. Today, I shared with you 10 places worth visiting in Nanjing for your reference when making raiders.

1, Nanjing Museum

Someone told me that if I have never been to Nanjing Museum once when I came to Nanjing, it means that I have never been to Nanjing Museum, so I did my homework online with pious heart. From the method of booking tickets to the order of visiting, I consulted the collections in the museum in great detail before making an appointment. Nanjing Museum Nanjing Museum is one of the earliest museums established in China. Located at the southern foot of Nanjing Purple Mountain and the north side of Zhongshan Gate, it covers an area of over 70,000 square meters.

Nanjing Museum has more than 420,000 pieces (sets) of various collections, both national and Jiangsu regional, from the Paleolithic age to the present. There are not only court handed down, but also archaeological excavations, and some of them are collected and donated by the society. They are all treasures of past dynasties, which can be said to be a huge treasure house of China's culture and art. Bronzes, jade articles, ceramics, gold and silver vessels, bamboo horns, lacquerware, silk embroidery, calligraphy and painting, seals, inscriptions and statues are all available, and each variety has its own historical series, which has become the most direct witness to the historical development of Chinese civilization for thousands of years. This is a very worthwhile place to go.

2. Old doorway

Laomendong is called "Door East" because it is located in the east of Nanjing Zhonghua Gate. The traditional Chinese-style wooden structure, white-gray tiles and horse-head wall in Laomen Dongli have maintained their original features, which is the best epitome of the old Nanjing City.

Laomendong Nature Reserve reaches Jiangning Road in the east, Qinhuai River in Zhonghua Gate Castle in the west, Madao Street in the north and Ming City Wall in the south. With the implementation of the historical and cultural protection project in the reserve, people will walk through the "Laomendong" archway in the future, that is, walk into the traditional residential life in the south of the old city, and the old streets and lanes will make people feel the style of the old city again. Jinling Jingke, Nanjing White Bureau and Deyun Society are set up along the street. Handmade kites, cloth paintings, bamboo carvings, paper-cuts and marionettes are used to introduce various traditional delicacies and snacks in Nanjing. So if you want to feel the real life in Nanjing, it is necessary to go to Laomendong.

3. Jiming Temple

Jiming Temple is located at the foot of Lushan Mountain at the eastern foot of Jilong Mountain in Xuanwu District, Nanjing. It is also known as the ancient Jiming Temple. Founded in the Western Jin Dynasty, it is one of the oldest Brahma temples in Nanjing. Since ancient times, it has had the reputation of "the first temple in the Southern Dynasties" and "the first temple in the Southern Dynasties". During the Southern Dynasties, it was the center of Buddhism in China. Especially suitable for friends who believe in Buddhism.

1387 (twenty years of Hongwu in Ming dynasty), Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of Ming dynasty, ordered the demolition of old houses, the expansion of scale and the reconstruction of monasteries. Zhu Yuanzhang inscribed "Jiming Temple". Later, it was expanded in the years of Xuande, Chenghua and Hongzhi in the Ming Dynasty, and the courtyard was huge, covering an area of 100 mu. Later, the ancient temple was destroyed by the Xianfeng War. Although the Tongzhi period was rebuilt and the scale was greatly reduced, the incense has been flourishing. 1958 changed to Zhong Ni Dojo. From 65438 to 0983, under the leadership of the former abbot Zong Cheng, Jiming Temple was gradually restored and opened to the outside world according to the scale and shape of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and became an important temple in Nanjing.

4. Xuanwu Lake

Xuanwu Lake Park, a popular scenic spot, is also one of the landmark scenic spots in Nanjing. It's best to avoid holidays if possible. Located in Xuanwu District, Nanjing, with Purple Mountain in the east, Ming City Wall in the west and Nanjing Station in the north, it is the largest city park in the south of the Yangtze River, the largest royal garden lake in China and the only royal garden in the south of the Yangtze River, and is known as the "Pearl of Jinling".

Xuanwu is one of the four gods in China's fairy tales, and its concrete image is a tortoise and snake complex. Xuanwu, Qinglong, White Tiger and Suzaku represent the four directions of southeast and northwest, among which Xuanwu Lake actually means North Lake. The park is super large, and it is estimated that the whole park is about ten kilometers, so you must prepare a pair of comfortable shoes and plenty of food and water when you go, or choose a place to go. Otherwise, I guess I won't have the strength to go to the second scenic spot all the way down.
