The famous old Engels friedrich engels, a good comrade-in-arms of old Marx, was born in Bamen, Germany in 1820, and now belongs to a district of partal. Because of his high popularity, his former residence was completely preserved and made into a museum. Engels' former residence is not far from the Wupo River. There used to be several houses, but now most of them are in ruins. Engels' former residence is a four-story building, which is actually the ancestral home of Engels' father and the place where young Engels was born and lived.
Of course, Lan Yu Cultural Industry Tourism Planning and Design Institute should not pay attention to engers today, but another feature of partal: the unique suspended train in the world. This is the longest and oldest monorail suspension train in the world. As a daily travel tool for partal citizens, the suspended train has almost never stopped its service for more than 100 years after its completion.
The suspended monorail train in Tal, Dubai is the first suspended monorail train in the world. 190 1 officially opened in Wuppertal, Germany. The suspended monorail track beam is located at the lower side of the joist, and the vehicle runs on the suspended track beam. For hundreds of years, this unique railway has been attracting countless tourists. Schwebebahn, which has a history of one hundred years, is a safe, reliable and environment-friendly public transport, which is driven by electric energy and can be said to have zero emissions. Secondly, because it runs on an elevated railway, it will not cause too much pressure on ground traffic.
/kloc-more than 0/00 years ago, only pure science and engineering Germans would have such a super brain hole idea. It is said that on the day of trial operation of1October 24th1900 10, Kaiser Wilhelm II was also invited to board the train and became one of the first passengers to hang the train in the air. Since then, these flying trains have become a unique urban landscape in partal.
-Now-
Nowadays, hanging trains is still the main means of transportation in partal, which is deeply loved by local people and tourists. When tourists come to partal, they only need to spend less than 5 euros to buy a ticket, and they can board the suspended train just like the locals. They can not only visit partal by car, but also get addicted to flying on the Houpert River.
The steel frame supporting the railway track across the city is like a giant green millipede winding in the air.
Although this steel millipede has gone through 100 years, its technology is still amazing. It crosses the urban area at an altitude of12m, with a total length of13.3km. There are 20 stations in * * *. Of which10km is located above the Upu River, and the remaining 3.3km passes through the narrow streets of partal.
All trains are like "monorail trains with inverted wheels". The driving equipment and wheels are placed on the top of the head, and the multi-angle auxiliary wheels like roller coasters hold the track tightly, and then they can travel safely in the air. On the winding river, the suspended train can gallop at a speed of 60 kilometers per hour, and it only takes 35 minutes to complete the journey. The elevated track on the river will not affect the vehicles and people on the ground, and also greatly save valuable urban land.
When boarding the train from the air platform and winding along the upper valley, the carriage naturally swings from side to side with the track, giving passengers the illusion of flying in the air. Looking down, because there is no track blocking, Wupo River and the ducks playing in it can be clearly seen, which is different from the time and space of the speeding train.
It is worth mentioning that one of the 27 trains in operation was named "Engels". In fact, partal is the hometown of the great mentor Engles. Now, you can take the suspended train from the center of partal, and you can reach the former residence of Engels within a few stops.
Engels died six years ago when the monorail suspension train officially passed by his door in 190 1. Unfortunately, I didn't see the picture of the suspended train driving in my hometown. In fact, "millipede" is only tens of meters away from Engels' former residence. Standing in front of the former residence, you can even feel the vibration when the train passes by. Railway, culture and history are inadvertently intertwined at this moment.

Now/kloc-more than 0/00 years ago, it was proposed to build some post-modern suspended railways on the Wupo River, which not only caused a sensation at that time, but also caused twists and turns.
Partal is an industrial city, which was once famous for its developed textile industry. "Tal" means "river valley" in German. As the name implies, the 20-kilometer-long upstream valley is connected by blood and carries the evolution of urban civilization.
A century ago, partal had not yet formed a modern city, and there were only a few independent towns along the upstream coast. With the development of industry, several towns have poured in a large number of people, and the carrying capacity of 400 thousand people makes the traffic here unbearable. Because the Wupo River is too narrow to be navigable, this natural waterway is useless.
In order to improve local traffic, the first local referendum was held at the end of 19, and the proposal was to bury the river to increase the road area. As soon as the case came out, it was immediately spurned by the citizens, because the Upu River is the soul of these towns. Without rivers, partal would not exist. The proposal of the second referendum is to expand the river course and train commuter boats. However, this proposal was also rejected, because residents thought that the expansion of navigable rivers would change the soothing and elegant riverside atmosphere, which would not only drive away wild ducks and waterfowl, but also make people unable to get close to the water source. Finally, in the third referendum, we got a seemingly impossible idea, but everyone knew it-building a suspended railway on the river and hanging the carriage in the air. This proposal not only refreshed the local residents, but also won the favor and support of King William II of Prussia, and was even more unexpectedly generous, which solved the most troublesome project fund-raising problem for the authorities.

With funds, technical problems have become the most urgent problems to be solved. At that time, there was no railway in the world where suspended trains could run. However, as early as 1824, British engineer Henry Palmer put forward the design scheme of horse-drawn suspended monorail. In 1980s, German engineer You Jurgen Langen finally manufactured and tested the world's first electric suspension monorail prototype in Cologne. Years of railway construction experience and advanced industrial theory and practical experience have given Germans the confidence and capital to try new modes of transportation.
1898, the suspended monorail of partal started. Under the guidance of architect Wilhelm Feldman, after only three years of construction, this monorail made its debut at 190 1.

Since then, these flying trains have become a unique urban landscape in partal. They have a beautiful name "Schwebebahn" in German, which means "floating train".
1900
This new type of urban transportation has caused a great sensation in Germany. During the trial operation of1October 24th 1900 and 10, King William II personally boarded the bus to experience his unique travel experience.

After 190 1 was officially opened, the suspended railway in partal immediately became the favorite means of transportation for the surrounding residents, and the towns connected by the railway finally decided to form a unified city. 1929, several towns along the original Wupo River formally formed Wupotar City. Perhaps the magic of this form of hanging trains contributed to the establishment of this city, and the green millipedes built along the river became the eternal symbol of this city.

Centennial train
Since its opening, suspended trains have become an indispensable lifeline of Wuppertal. In its 100-year history, apart from war, there is almost nothing that can make millipedes interrupt their service. During World War I, because most men joined the army, women were fully responsible for the operation of this railway, and the passenger capacity plummeted. After the war, France was also designated a station, and passengers had to pass through the entry-exit checkpoint on the way. During World War II, partal, as an industrial city, was bombarded indiscriminately, and many stations and tracks were damaged, so the suspended monorail could only be operated in sections. After 1945 was further damaged, the transportation system was forced to stop running. Fortunately, the suspended monorail was not demolished after the war, but reopened at 1946.
1940
1950
Even though it was temporarily stopped after being bombed in World War II, the partal Air Railway still stood still, and it was not until 1999 that a fatal accident caused by human negligence occurred. An interesting little accident was that at 1950, a circus had a whim to let a baby elephant take a part of the empty railway. Unexpectedly, the elephant didn't adapt to the strange floating feeling between the driving cars and began to hit the Wupo River. Fortunately, it was only a minor injury. Later, the circus was fined, but the "diving elephant" incident became a living advertisement of the empty railway.

2 1 century, in 20 15, Ukraine's partal Air Railway Company introduced a new design of "15 generation", which adopted three-phase asynchronous motor technology and utilized energy recovery during braking. ETCS European train control system is introduced to improve energy efficiency and traffic safety.

Nowadays, hanging trains is still the main means of transportation in partal, which is deeply loved by local people and tourists. Trains run every five minutes, carrying 75,000 passengers every day and 25 million passengers every year.
When the technology was first created, there were many imitators, such as the southern Hunan train in Japan and the floating roller coaster in the theme park. Lan Yu Cultural Industry Tourism Planning and Design Institute believes that the development of rail transit has a profound historical and cultural heritage, and at the same time, it can give tourists a rich sense of experience and bring different travel experiences to those who have no chance to travel around the world and experience rich forms of transportation.
