The slimming method of Winsxs folder in Win8. 1 system is as follows:

1. It is risky for users to manually delete files in the Winsxs folder! (Not recommended)

2. Click on the bottom left of the screen (desktop) → Start → Run (or press Win+R key on the keyboard at the same time) → Enter → cmd in the open run window → Press Enter on the keyboard (or click OK in the run window). → You can also enter → %windir%\system32\cmd.exe → press Enter on the keyboard → bring up the command prompt window in the address bar above the open file management window.
