How to understand Anna's view of children's psychopathology from the perspective of development?
From 65438 to 0945, Anna suggested that children's analysis should shift from clinical symptoms to normal development intervention. She is very opposed to examining children from the perspective of symptoms, and she insists on identifying potential types of obstacles from the perspective of development. She believes that child psychoanalysts should be able to understand the relationship between surface and deep, and distinguish different deep meanings from similar surface symptoms. Here, it can also be understood that children's behavior is superficial, for example, some children are picky eaters, and some children eat without restraint and often accumulate food. For example, some children like to touch and harass each other while playing, and some children are always bullied by others. When parents see these superficial phenomena, it is easy to educate and guide their children's behavior, but they find that education and guidance are useless, and parents become powerless and start. If we understand the essence, we need to know which stages of children's development and evaluate which stages have problems with the essence.
From the perspective of development, from the perspectives of emotional development and personality structure development, the main concern is still the development of self-driving force and the development relationship between self and superego. In Anna's view, the adaptability of children's development is the most important issue we need to pay attention to, so the development of children's internal drive is mainly reflected in two aspects, one is the need of relationship, and the other is the expression of internal drive.
The so-called children's need for relationships refers to the objects in which children put their internal drive, such as mothers or direct caregivers. If children are not close to their mother or caregivers, or can't get close to them, they may put their objects in their bodies. They will express the object relationship with physical diseases, such as asthma, eczema, enteritis or migraine. In this case, the essence is probably in infancy, because babies at that time have no language. When they feel that the pain can't be said by the target mother and can't be understood by the target mother, they can't put the pain on the target mother, separate the body from the spirit, and bear the pain with the body, which leads to depression. For example, a 5-year-old girl often can't go to school because of colic. Whenever she has a conflict with her mother, she will vomit until she collapses. Perhaps the hidden essence behind this phenomenon is that when she was a baby, her mother ignored it, which led her to bring this problem to the age of 5.
