Can the remaining loquat seeds be planted to produce the same fruit?
The remaining loquat seeds can be planted, but the fruit is different. Because loquat varieties are excellent varieties bred in long-term cultivation, it is difficult to inherit the excellent characteristics of the mother plant through seed propagation, and grafting is generally needed to obtain varieties with the same characteristics as the mother plant.

Planting method of loquat seeds:

1. After eating loquat, put away the seeds and dry them. Don't expose yourself to the sun, and peel off the skin as much as possible after drying.

2. Loquat has low requirements on soil, and general soil can grow. Instead, spread a few broken tiles on the bottom of the basin, spread a layer of coarse sand, then fill some nutrient soil, and then put loquat seeds in the basin. Cover with soil, about 5 mm thick, which can cover the seeds. After covering the soil, water it properly.

3. Then put the flowerpot in a cool place with sunshine and water, and it will germinate in about 2 weeks.

4. Loquat has high requirements on the size of pots and pans because of its thick seedlings and large leaves. Generally speaking, a slightly smaller purple sand basin is used to control the growth of loquat in the early stage. After changing pots twice, loquat can be replaced with a small jar with a diameter of about 10 cm.

5. Loquat should be properly pruned and fertilized during its growth. When pruning loquat, the trunk should be kept 20-30 cm high, and dead branches, weak branches and dense branches should be cut off to improve the light transmission and ventilation conditions of the whole plant. For some parts with few branches and baldness, they can be cut short. However, young loquat trees are fertilized once every 60 days, mainly with organic fertilizer, and adult fruit trees are fertilized four times a year.

The benefits of eating pipa:

1. Promote digestion

The organic acids contained in loquat can stimulate the secretion of digestive glands, which has a considerable effect on stimulating appetite, helping digestion and absorption, quenching thirst and relieving summer heat.

Runfei cough

Loquat contains amygdalin, which can moisten lung, relieve cough, eliminate phlegm and treat various coughs.

Prevent catching a cold

Loquat fruit and leaves can inhibit influenza virus, and regular eating can prevent colds at four o'clock.

Prevent vomiting

Eriobotrya japonica leaves can be dried in the sun to make tea, which has the effects of clearing away heat and lowering qi, regulating stomach and lowering adverse qi, and can be used to treat various vomiting and hiccups.

Lose weight and lose weight

Loquat is rich in crude fiber and mineral elements. Every100g of loquat meat contains 0.4g of protein, 6.6g of carbohydrates, and vitamin B 1 and vitamin C, which is an effective fruit to lose weight.

Loquat tree grafting:

(1) grafting time. Loquat grafting is carried out in spring and autumn. Autumn grafting is the best in Chaoshan area (around the National Day), because the climate is suitable, there is little rain and the grafting survival rate is high.

(2) scion treatment. Cut annual and biennial branches with full buds and full growth from the periphery of the middle part of the adult tree as scions. Scions can be harvested now, or sealed with wax and hidden in wet sand after harvest. It is best to cut the scion in advance, remove the leaves the next day after cutting, and keep the petiole, so that the leaves lose some water through transpiration. Be careful when cutting the petiole to protect the bud eye from damage. The scion can be treated with 50 ml/L NAA to improve the grafting survival rate.

(3) rootstock treatment. Cut off the rootstock 15-20cm 65438+ leave 3-5 compound leaves or leave water branches 0-2 days before grafting, which can reduce the moisture of rootstock, increase the nutrient concentration and healing hormone concentration of rootstock, reduce the moisture in the bound film and improve the survival rate. If the rootstock is left too short, it is not convenient for grafting, which will affect the grafting speed and survival rate.

(4) grafting. Choose sunny days. The straight edge of the scion is used as a long cutting surface. First, the back of the scion is obliquely cut at a 45-degree angle with a knife, and then the length is 1.5-2 cm, taking cutting to xylem as the degree. Each scion has 1-2 buds, which are cut at the top 0.3 cm.

(5) Post-connection management. Check the survival about 25-30 days after grafting. If the grafted bud is found to be restrained, the field knife will carefully break the membrane to help the bud germinate and make up the surviving bud in time. When the scion bud grows to 4- 10 cm. Grafting site: 1.2m is short or not.
