Neil, I think there are five jurisdictions in Bazhong City, and each jurisdiction can grow different kinds of Chinese herbal medicines. Here, I will carefully share with you-
(1) Bazhou District: It is suitable for planting Polygonum cuspidatum, Gardenia jasminoides Ellis, Hedysarum septemlobata and so on.
(2) Nanjiang County: suitable for planting Poria cocos, honeysuckle and platycodon grandiflorum;
(3) Tongjiang County: Suitable for planting tremella, Epimedium and Gastrodia elata;
(4) Pingchang County: Suitable for planting gardenia, salvia miltiorrhiza and safflower;
(5) Enyang District: It is suitable for planting Radix Angelicae Dahuricae, Radix Chuanminshen and Radix Scrophulariae;
2. How to grow Chinese herbal medicines:
Here, Neil takes Chuanmingshen as an example to explain the technology of planting Chinese herbal medicines-
Chuanminshen is generally propagated by sowing, seedling raising and transplanting. Sow in August every year, and plant at the density of 0.25m * 0.3m row spacing and 0.05m * 0.08m plant spacing to ensure the planting density of 25,000 ~ 32,000 plants per mu.
The later stage is fertilizer and water management and pest control.
