Effect of Lifting Ring Stretching on Hemiplegia Patients
Hemiplegia is a nervous system disease, which causes the muscles of one side or a certain part of the body to be unable to move or control normally. Lifting ring stretching is a kind of physical therapy, which is helpful to the recovery of muscle function and motor ability of hemiplegic patients. By hanging the patient's body parts, the ring is stretched and appropriate traction is applied, thus increasing the range of motion of joints and prolonging the length of muscles and soft tissues. This stretching will stimulate the nerves and muscles of the body, promote blood circulation and tissue nutrition supply, help reduce muscle spasm and stiffness, and enhance muscle flexibility and strength.
